Receiving 3 saw blades in trade for painting 2 for a friend who's grandfather had a saw mill, I then had to decide what to do with my 3.  I wanted to go 3D and I wanted to make a memorial for the trees...and for those who have labored in their harvest...

These blades were used by Curtis Short, of Ink, Arkansas, born 1911, finished his chores 1982. 

This piece was donated to the citizens of Polk County shortly before a tornado hit the town of Mena in 2009.  The piece was damaged but repairable and will be returned to the Polk County Courthouse grounds to be a part of the sculpture garden once again.
